The Greater Pittsburgh region's geography is diverse and suburbs are primarily categorized in 6 groupings, which include North Hills, South Hills, East Hills, West Hills, and the Mon Valley with the City of Pittsburgh's 90 distinct Neighborhoods grouped into 32 wards. While there are many different neighborhoods and communities within each of the hills, these groupings do highlight a lot of commonality. You will notice that many neighborhoods in the South Hills have a lot of commonality, as they do in the East or West Hills, West Hills or North Hills when it comes to features, amenities, and lifestyles.
